    • Dress Code: Teams must wear similar shirts with collars & similar color bottoms. Players must wear flat-soled shoes.
    • Practice:  Club is open for practice on the morning of the event, beginning at 8:30AM, at right angles to the orientation of tournament play, to be completed by 8:55am.
    • Trial Ends: Two bowls in each direction per player for the first game and each time the team moves to a new green.
    • Scoring: Three points for a win. One point for a tie. Zero points for a loss. Game points, then score differential, and then the ratio of points for / points against will be used to rank the teams.
    • Restriction of movement of players. It’s Aussie Pairs, Skips don’t need to visit the head, they were there a shot ago. We ask all teams to be aware of play in adjacent rinks and ask that players remain away from the rink boundaries during play and walk up the center of the rink when changing ends.

    • Scorecards: Individual scorecards shall be kept by each team’s skip and turned in to the official scorekeeper as directed.
    • Time Limits: Once all matches but one have finished in the session, the teams remaining will complete their current end and then terminate play. The Tournament Director shall then determine the time allotted between rounds and announce the start time of the next games.  If the Controlling Body, by their own observation or advice from an umpire or opposition player/coach, decides that a player/coach through their constant interaction during the game is delaying the game unnecessarily, the Controlling Body reserves the right to remove the coach from coaching any further games in the event.
    • Dispute/emergency committee: The TD and the designated tournament head umpire to be announced on the day have the authority to enforce all the tournament rules and regulations. The Technical Official will work alongside the tournament director, representing PIMD as the controlling body of the event, the TO will be responsible for addressing any conflicts and disputes encountered, The technical official may warn or suspend any players deliberately engaging in non-sporting actions or violating the controlling body’s code of conduct.
